History Historically known as “Casa degli Omenoni,” Palazzo Luraschi was built following designs of the architect Luca Beltrami for Commander Giuseppe Luraschi. The palace is renowned for its renaissance-inspired designs and eight grand telamons (men-shaped pillars) that adorn the entrance—a feature that prompted locals to nickname the building “House of the Big Men.”

How to Get There Palazzo Luraschi is located just a few minutes’ walk southwest of the famous Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano). To get there, take underground lines M1 or M3 and get off at “Duomo” station, then walk along Via Torino and turn onto Via Omenoni.
