Valle de la Luna is a wild looking moon landscape that is a part of the Cordillera de la Sal that is in the Los Flamencos National Reserve. It is actually a small depression of salt ground that is carved out into odd sculptural shapes. You best best is to fly into Airport El Loa Calama (CJC) and rent a car to drive out there. There are no public buses that go here.
