Nguuni Nature Sanctuary is a fantastic spot for anyone who loves wildlife and nature in Mombasa, Kenya. It was set up in 1979 and is run by the Kenya Wildlife Service. The sanctuary is all about protecting wildlife and educating people. Initially, it was created to safeguard wildlife habitats and support conservation research and education. Today, it’s an important community hub, offering healthcare and educational programs through its Health Centre and Education Centre. To get to Nguuni Nature Sanctuary, take Kiembeni Road, which is just a 10-minute drive from Bamburi Beach. You can hop in a taxi, tuk-tuk, or drive yourself, though the roads can be a bit bumpy. Public transport options like matatus or boda bodas are also available from Mombasa city center.
Adult Non-Residents pay KSH 800, Children Non-Residents pay KSH 400. Resident Adults pay KSH 350, and Children pay KSH 100.
