A large protected area of cloud forest on the ridge above Medellin, reached by riding the Metrocable to Santo Domingo and changing to the Linea L, which then runs for several kilometres over forest with the whole valley behind you. At the top there are marked walking trails, pre-Hispanic footpaths, a market of local producers at weekends and air noticeably colder than the city. Take a layer. The cable car is part of the public transport network, so it is cheap, but the Linea L carries a separate fare.
