Amantani Island is another island on Lake Titicaca, where many of the local families offer homestays to visitors. Travelers can experience many aspects of local life during these homestays, including dining and cooking with the family as well as joining traditional celebrations. Amantani Island is also home to temples located at the top of its two mountains, Pachatata and Pachamama.
