Two and a half kilometres of financial towers, cultural centres and the odd surviving mansion along a ridge above the centre. It is where Sao Paulo holds its marches, its Pride parade and its New Year, and every Sunday it closes to traffic and fills with cyclists, skaters, buskers and families. MASP, Casa das Rosas, Itau Cultural and Japan House all sit on it, so a Sunday walk from end to end covers most of the city's accessible culture in a morning. Parque Trianon provides the only real shade.
