History

Ibirapuera Park is a large urban park located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. It was designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer and landscape designer Roberto Burle Marx and opened to the public in 1954. The park was created to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the city and has since become a popular destination for both locals and tourists.
