Our List of Recommended Vendors, Experiences and Travel Companies

It can be hard trying to locate and identify the right tour company, transfer company, etc. Luckily, we have you covered in this travel tip article. We’ve had some great experiences over the years and have met some really great people so we wanted to share those details with everyone! Everyone also asks how did we do this or who did we use for that. So, here is what we have put together so far!

Albania

Landi Taxi – Landi is a great driver and very friendly. We met during the pandemic and he took me around the country and I experienced a lot of local spots off the beaten path. If you need a driver give him a call. +355 69 208 4822.

Ride Andy – Andorra can be tricky to get to and even trickier to plan a day trip if you don’t want to go on a tour bus. RideAndy.com was our solution. While the company has grown and now leads a variety of excursions all over the country, those core goals – friendly atmosphere, small groups, personalized travel, sustainability – still form the bedrock of EcoChile Travel. La Bicicleta Verde -La Bicicleta Verde was once just a dream that owners Peter and Joel liked to entertain over beers. Once they proposed to each other that showcasing their beloved city in an ecological and unpolluted way was an actual possibility, they got to work. How could two avid cyclists take people around Santiago de Chile while not contributing to the CO2 emissions of the city? The answer was obvious: bike tours. They joined forces and immediately ventured into Santiago by bike to come up with the best cycling routes.

Happy Dive Center – Great dive team and the front office lady who is actually an from Canada was great as well! Dominican Airport Transfers – The VIP service at Punta Cana airport is a must. The VIP service was worth every penny. One of the best fast track programs I’ve ever experience. I was out of the airport within 5 minutes tops after exiting the aircraft.

Rami Insight Tours – This is literally the only tour company you will need in Egypt. Rami has connections everywhere in the country and can customize a full itinerary for you. When you travel with Rami you are family/friends and not just another tourist. I literally can’t say enough things about Rami, his family and his team. Rami’s Insight Tours is an adventure travel company formed in 2014 and based in Giza. Specializing in budget travel to destinations throughout Egypt.

Guatemala

Antigua

Antigua Tours by Elizabeth Bell is the go to operator for Antigua. They also provide shuttle service from Guatemala City and can arrange other excursions to Copan and Tikal.

Iceland

Dive.is – If you are planning on diving or snorkeling Silfra I recommend this company. They do two dives/snorkels per day and they have a pickup service from Reykjavic which makes it super easy.

Nice Travel – If you are going in the winter time I recommend getting a guide with a tour company just to be on the safe side especially if you are like me an from Texas where it never snows. Nice travel was the most affordable small group tour company I could find and their customer service is excellent. All the guides I had were also local to the areas we were touring which was really cool and they had some really unique stories to tell.

Italy

Naples (Area)

Italydriver.com is the best. Umberto, who owns the company, actually use to live in the United States so he is super easy to work with and communicate with. He set us with a wonder private trip from Naples all the way as south as Paestum.

Jordan

Jordan Private Tours and Travel – Ahmed was our guide/driver and he was excellent. Great hospitality and they planned the whole excursion for us. He also gave us some great insider tips that made our trip more enjoyable.

Monaco

Liven Up Experience is an awesome company for renting yachts and exotic cars. I rented a Lamborghini and a yacht from them and they took care us very well.

Morocco

Marrakech

Marrakech Desert Tours – They provide excellent service for a Sarah Desert tour for us and it was great! Everything was smooth going.

Peru

Inti Sun Trek – Again one of those companies where they can hook you up with a great bespoke experience anywhere in Peru. I can’t say enough good things about Jesus and the people with the company that helped us.

Spain

Andalucia Area (Malaga, Seville, Gibraltar, etc)

Minicab Transfer Malaga – We used this company for a day trip to Gibraltar from Seville and Manuel was excellent. Great driver and he showed us around to some cool local spots along the way. If you are in the Seville or Malaga area I would recommend them for your transfer or day trip needs.

Switzerland

Zurich

Free Walk – They have a few free walking tours throughout Switzerland but we went on the one in Zurich and it was excellent! We actually went with one of the founders who knew just about everything about Zurich. One of the best free walking tours I’ve been on to date.

Turkey

Opus Travel and Tour – I stumbled upon this place randomly actually and one of the guides working there at the time ended up becoming one of my friends and we still talk today! They were very helpful and created a tour specifically for me.

General Tours

If I don’t know of a tour provider I usually go with Get Your Guide. They offer tours all over the world that are vetted providers and you can checkout the reviews and photos for yourself before booking.
