Museo Casa de la Zacatecana
C. Independencia 59, Centro, 76000 Santiago de Querétaro, Qro., MexicoB
Posted by Brandon B.AdminA restored eighteenth-century townhouse a block from the main square, furnished as it would have been and holding a good collection of period clocks and furniture. Its reputation rests on the legend of the woman from Zacatecas who is said to have had her husband murdered here, and the two skeletons reportedly found under the floor during restoration. The house is handled seriously rather than as a ghost attraction. It is small, central and takes under an hour.
