A Peruvian kitchen in a courtyard off Recreo, serving ceviche, causa, lomo saltado and anticuchos with an actual pisco bar behind it. It arrived when most of San Miguel's expensive restaurants were cooking a cautious international menu for a foreign retiree audience, and it did something specific instead. The courtyard fills early, it does not take bookings for small parties, and the queue on the step is part of the experience. Cash is easier than card.
