A narrow pedestrian lane running several hundred metres behind the Mercado Ignacio Ramírez, lined with stalls selling silver, punched tin, papier-mâché, textiles and the painted skeletons San Miguel turns out by the thousand. Quality is uneven and the better pieces sit at the far end away from the Jardín, where rents are lower. Bargaining is expected but modest. Worth combining with the food side of the municipal market, which is where the town itself shops.
