The covered municipal market a few streets north of the Jardín: produce, butchers, dried chillies, flowers, and a row of comedor counters at the back doing menú del día for a fraction of what the same plate costs on the square. The fruit and juice stands at the entrance are the usual first stop. It runs on the morning rhythm — by late afternoon much of it has packed up. The craft alley runs off the far side, so the two combine naturally.
